Yesterday was an incredible day for Anne Bertelson Photography. October 28th marked two years since my very first photography session.
Since I was 4 and my grandpa gave me my first Kodak camera, I've been rather obsessed with photography. I've gone through stages where photography was a way to explore everything around me, it was a way to hide in a crowd, a way to be impressive when I was feeling stupid, a way to capture love, to find hope again, to live the life I've always dreamed of, and to laugh. With over 50 sessions, I've been in 50 different moods, had 50 different struggles, and seen 50 different visions. Photography helped me to come through one of my hardest struggles and gave me comfort through my biggest struggle. To be honest, 2017 has been the hardest year I've ever been through. So while sometimes I go through ruts where I "hate" photography and "hate" my business and just want to be free, I truly believe God uses photography to make me free and to remember to live my life to it's deepest purpose.
So below is my life, my emotions, and my soul from 2015-2017.
Thank you to all my clients, supporters and friends who reminded me how loved I was and how much I love photography.
